Scott Mead

Scott Mead is a fine art photographer, philanthropist, and investor. He established Bramley Studio and leads its creative practice, engagements and initiatives.

Scott studied photography under renowned photographers William Eggleston and Emmet Gowin and practiced for many years prior to his investment banking career.

In 2009 he rediscovered his extensive archives and soon returned to photography full time. A solo exhibition, Looking Back, took place in 2010 along with the publication of a book of the same name. Following this, his photographs have been show in numerous exhibitions through out the world.

Above the Clouds was published by Prestel in 2017 followed by a solo exhibition at Hamiltons Gallery, London in 2018.
Scott’s latest work, Equivalents, will be published by Prestel in autumn 2022. All profits from print and book sales are donated to charity.

Through The Mead Family Foundation Scott has established numerous fellowships, endowments and other opportunities for artists, medical research, athletes and students.
